Robin Twelftree has been composing, DJing and mixing music for Artists, TV Productions and Record companies at 12 Tree Studios for 20 years.
Producing and writing for a diverse selection of clients, from EMI & The Prodigy to BBC’s Masterchef and EA Games. Robin works with a variety of electronic influences and records live bands and soloists, from harp players to scratch DJs.
An experienced Producer and Musician, playing guitar and keys, with a passion for composing for picture & collaborating on unique projects. Robins mixing skills have produced tracks with over 20 million streams to date.
Robin has DJ’d at Fabric, Glastonbury, Secret Garden, Ministry of Sound, Bugged Out & Tour support DJ for the Prodigy, at festivals in Australia, U.S., China, South America and all over Europe.

THE STORY OF 12TREE STUDIOS
12Tree studios is the creation of Robin Twelftee, a music producer with over 20 years of experience in music producing, composing and DJing. Clients range from Keith Flint (The Prodigy) to Jose Padilla (Cafe del Mar) through to the BBC, Channel 4, and major labels such as EMI and Island.
In parallel with producing records Robin has built up a healthy catalogue of composing for TV, most notably the past 8 series of music for Masterchef UK, including the post titles theme. Other notable composing projects include A place in the Sun, the T4 Idents and TV advertising clients from Nokia to EA Games. Most recently he’s composed the showcase soundtrack for Fonic studios and the 2020 Masterchef Christmas special. Robin has composed music that regularly gets 8 million views in the UK.
12Tree Studios recently relocated to central Barcelona, from its East London base. The studio in Central Barcelona offers a great environment to work whilst maintaining strong ties with clients in London and around Europe. Currently Robin is recording with long-time collaborator Phil Mison (Cantoma), Robin has co-produced his last 4 albums – with over 12 million streams on Spotify.
12Tree Studios started in 2003 in Camden’s musical heart and Robin quickly built a reputation for cutting edge productions, attracting clients from major labels EMI and Decca, to independent labels Bugged Out, Fingerlickin and Tummy Touch. Focussing on leftfield, commercially viable mixing and recording, in a relaxed environment. 12Tree Studios then moved to Hackney in 2006 and attracted big clients from the Electronic music world from Robert Owens to Visage and Stanton Warriors.
